学校概况
缅因州奥罗诺大学(简称UMO)，成立于1856年，是本州的佼佼者。大学较好的科目有海洋科学、造纸科技和野生动物研究。采用小班制教学，师生比例为1:14，每班平均人数25人，学生可获特别照顾与辅导。据耶鲁大学日报编撰的《Insider’s Guide》指出，这里的学生都显得十分悠悠自在。前一两年有5,260人投考，共4,589人获录取。
